  • Visit Tornby, go to Linköpings Stål to buy steel/aluminium/copper,
  • haul slabs of wood,
  • bring sheets for the CNC,
  • move machines between workshops,

Law and Risk Assesment

  • You are on your own risk of using the vehicle
  • Watch out for other people, bikes and cars, Watch out for the glass doors and narrow path
  • By Swedish/EU law, The vehicle is classified as a Human Powered Vehicle, which means there is no stright weight or size limit set by the law, it should use the bike-path. If encontered with police, please clarify its legality. Please obey the road-law and drive safe with care so risk and complication can be avoided.
  • To use at night please attach your own lights and wear helmet all the time.

\begin{enumerate}

  • Practice a bit before take off! Especially how to maneur through turning with slow speed! Once familiar with the steering, it should work out.
  • The Aluminium bike stand, which will smash hard back since it is powered by springs, please release it slow so it does not make tons of noise : ) To set it up or release it, all can be done with left foot.
  • Recommended load weight not exceeding 100kg since over that it will become a bit hard to steer, however if you are confident, weight limit is somewhere at around 250kg.
  • The vechicle can be driven inside the Makerspace, and it is comfortable to follow the path shown to enter/exit Makerspace.

\end{enumerate}

Secure the Load

The cargo bay length is about 92cm in length and 53cm in width, Make sure the bike stand is firmly standed when loading/unloading.

  • To secure large objects like a shelf or a washing machine, there are elastic ropes with hooks.
  • To carry muliple bags (when going to groccery), first find a box, the box is no need to fixed to the bike as soon as you drive slow and correct its position.
  • It is not very comfortable carrying full sheets(1.2m x 2.4m) from Tornby, maybe we need a special sheet carrying devices for that.  but at Bauhaus they can cut it  for you, as soon is a it is not too wide and too long, carrying should be no big deal.
  • To carry kids watch out for the metal tubes since it might be risky for colliding with head.

\end{enumerate}

Service

  • The bike is 100\% made in Sweden, which means there is very light responsibility on worn/damage, We can quickly fix it up  so always prioritise your safety when traveling.
  • You can service it at your own will, there is nothing complicated.
  • If the steering get slopy over time just report so we can pump oil in it and tighten it back.
  • Add your contribution if you like, need no discussion, just do it : )
